Bio: Shortly after Blu turned 18, his mother and father divorced. Blu found out that his father had a male companion and that his mother knew and supported the affair. Blu’s parents wanted a child and agreed to stay together until their child turned 18. He is still very close with his parents though Blu’s strongest family tie is with his grandfather Conrad. His grandfather was a leather crafter who ran the family business out of his garage. Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Blu never felt that this fondness for leather was odd.
When his grandfather caught Blu and his then-lover having sex on a rawhide sheet, the elder decided that it was time that he came out to his grandson. Instead of having an emotional conversation, Conrad spent two weeks making his grandson an elaborate gift. Blu still cherishes and uses the sex sling his grandfather made for him to this day. He takes tremendous pride in being “3rd generation” gay and talks to his grandfather regularly about sex, men, and machinery.
Blu found it difficult to tell his grandfather that he was moving to Boston, Massachusetts to follow his high school sweetheart. So one night he just packed up his things, jumped into his sweetheart's car, and drove off. Once in Boston, Blu's sweetheart got so bogged down with college courses that they rarely spent quality time together. Blu heard about the men cruising at the Fens and his curiosity -- among other things -- peaked. He met so many hot, sexy men. He heard so many fantastic stories. Blu's life is constantly changing. And that's just what he wants.
